Description of Program:
The San Cristobal Ranch Academy (SCRA) is a therapeutic transitional learning center that offers educational and vocational programs to 17 to 25 year old men struggling with one or more of the following: anger, depression, poor self-esteem, school failure, unsatisfactory job performance, and substance abuse. In the environment of a secluded working horse ranch and classroom facility located high in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, the SCRA offers a yearlong, three-stage therapy to work and/or school program designed to teach young men the life skills they need to progress as successful adults.
