For over 40 years, Eckerd Academy has helped thousands of youth with emotional and behavioral challenges reach their full potential. A highly effective, nationally-accredited therapeutic boarding school in an outdoor setting, Eckerd Academy utilizes Eight Essential Elements to help students achieve positive change: strength-based focus; individualized therapeutic plans; individualized academics (from remedial to honors); enriched settings filled with high interest activities; positive role modeling and encouragement; therapeutic group living; stringent safety standards; and family support services that strengthen parent-child relationships. Campuses are located in Suches, GA and Brooksville, FL and serve boys and girls ages 10 – 18.
