Description of Program:
The Edge is designed for students aged 12 Ð 15 years old, experiencing behavioral difficulties for multiple reasons. (Older students may be considered on a case-by-case basis). Some of these difficulties are the result of learning disabilities such as dyslexia or an attention deficit disorder. Other difficulties may be the result of psychological diagnoses such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder including AsperserÕs Syndrome and more. Behavioral difficulties may also result from a combination of learning and psychological difficulties. This program is designed for students of average or greater intelligence and specifically excludes violent students and sex offenders.
