Description of Program:
It is the purpose of Three Springs Duck River program to help young men deal with struggles, whether it is struggles with their family, school, or community. The ultimate goal is to heal the child and return him to his family unit. The program uses proven clinical approaches that are complimented by the outdoor component. Mental health treatment is provided for emotionally and/or behaviorally disturbed adolescents age 13-17. The Duck River program combines traditional psychiatric/psychological treatment along with experiential/adventure based outdoor services combined with an on site accredited school. The typical length of stay ranges from 9-15 months. Adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems receive comprehensive therapeutic and academic services in a safe and nurturing environment. We help lead adolescents to the right path and support them along their journey by teaching them to believe in themselves and in their ability to be successful
