Turning PointÕs philosophy is to help your son find his balance by taking him out of his comfort zone. Turning PointÕs main objective is to help your son understand the relationship between his struggles and his personal choices. By participating in the program he will be able to break free from negative and often destructive behavioral patterns. Our staff will help him develop effective coping skills and communication skills necessary for success. Your sonÕs "Turning Point" will begin with his ability to accept personal accountability for his actions and responsibility for his choices.

Turning Point is designed to address three essential components in your sonÕs life.

The Behavioral Component: There are six levels in the program; each is designed to guide your son step by step through his personal behavioral re-modification. Through the levels of the program your son will shed off his dysfunctional and often disrespectful behaviors and replace them with exceptional behaviors that will provide him intrinsic values and slingshot him into a successful life style.

The Therapeutic Component: Each student will see a Licensed/Certified Mental Health Therapist at least once per week to work on personal long-term and short-term goals specifically aimed to improve your sonÕs emotional welfare and character. Guided Group Interactions are held 5 times per week and are designed to address your sonÕs thinking errors and personal challenges through positive peer culture.

The Educational Component: Your son will have the opportunity to continue his academics with qualified school administrators, certified teachers and a certified school counselor. Your son will have the opportunity to catch up on his school credits and or graduate from high school quicker than you might have thought possible.

Turning Point has a variety of Professional Staff and Direct Care Staff, who are on duties at all times, some of which include: Licensed and Certified Mental Health Therapists, Program Director, Staff Director, School Administration, Certified Teachers, Life Coaches and Mentors.
