Description of Program:
Gatehouse Academy is a transitional living program focused specifically on young adults age 17 to 24, struggling with chemical dependency or in some cases, dual diagnosis issues. Parents/young adults seeking drug treatment often come our way.

Residents are taught life skills, social skills and work ethic, while receiving therapy, clinical and psychiatric services by mental health professionals. High school completion and college courses are provided in addition to vocational training. 12-step meetings are attended in the community. Part of the leadership training curriculum involves a six-week trip to our satellite campus in Thundar Bay, Ontario, Canada where residents learn life skills in an international setting.

Yoga, karate, martial arts, hiking, swimming and an extensive equestrian program make up some of our recreational activities. Photography, drama, arts,music and more are available.

Our unique approach to recovery, education and leadership training is provided at our international headquarters in Wickenburg, Arizona. We charge an inclusive monthly tuition of $6500.
