Description of Program:
The NorthStar Center trail-blazes the way for young adults ages 18-24 years old who seek to transform their lives and who need a supportive college experience. These young adults often have a history of substance abuse, poor self-esteem, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADD and lack motivation. Our students are bright with average to above average intelligence and are capable of college level work. Our aim is build self-reliant, confident young adults, tested by experience and challenged to think for themselves. Our graduates know who they are, what they stand for and where they are going. They lead successful, healthy, active and independent lives.
